American Reading Company is proud to share that ARC Core® is included on Vermont’s Recognized Curricular Program List of High-Quality Instructional Materials.
BLUE BELL, PA, UNITED STATES, August 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — American Reading Company is proud to share that ARC Core® is included on Vermont’s Recognized Curricular Program List of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM). Notably, ARC Core is the only K–12 curriculum currently included on Vermont’s list.
Vermont’s Agency of Education developed the list to give supervisory unions and school districts a starting point as they explore various high-quality curricula. Programs were curated based on rigorous national reviews, including EdReports, as well as reviews and guidance from states that have invested heavily in comprehensive curriculum evaluation processes.
“We’re proud of the success Vermont schools are experiencing with ARC Core and celebrate ARC Core’s inclusion on the Recognized Curricular Program List.” said Gina Rose, CEO of American Reading Company. “As educators strive to support every student’s brilliance, they deserve instructional materials that reflect the science of learning in a coherent, K-12 system. We look forward to deepening our partnerships with Vermont educators to ensure every child reads and writes on, or above, grade-level.”
ARC Core brings together knowledge building, structured phonics, connected reading and writing instruction, and differentiated support in a coherent K–12 progression. Daily instructional routines and a consistent approach across grades help create a literacy system that supports students from their earliest reading experiences through the secondary grades.
As Vermont’s Agency of Education continues advocating for the use of high-quality instructional materials across the state, we’re honored to be recognized for offering educators a K-12 curriculum grounded in evidence and designed to support every learner.
