Leadership Appointment Reflects Continued Commitment to Executive Collaboration, Operational Excellence, and Community Engagement
MIAMI, FL / ACCESS Newswire / June 1, 2026 / The YPO Southern Sands Chapter has announced the election of Nicholas Mirisis as an At Large Board Member for the 2025-2026 term. The appointment places Mirisis among the leadership team responsible for helping guide one of the fastest growing chapters within Young Presidents’ Organization, an international peer network of chief executives and business leaders operating across more than 142 countries worldwide.
The election reflects Mirisis’ involvement in executive leadership and his commitment to encouraging collaboration, professional development, and member engagement within the YPO community. As an At Large Board Member, he will support chapter initiatives related to member experience, educational programming, strategic growth, and regional connectivity throughout the Southern Sands community.
The YPO Southern Sands Chapter brings together nearly 110 leaders from the Mid Atlantic region, the Southeastern United States, and the Caribbean Islands. The chapter is known for its highly engaged culture centered around peer learning, leadership development, personal growth, and relationship building among entrepreneurs and senior executives.
The chapter hosts two flagship events each year, with each gathering spanning three days and three nights. Members participate in educational programming, collaborative discussions, networking opportunities, and family-focused experiences. In addition to these larger gatherings, the organization also conducts engagement dinners and networking events throughout the year, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats hosted across member locations.
Built around the philosophy of “work hard, play hard,” the chapter has developed a reputation for attracting globally minded executives who value business excellence and authentic peer relationships. The organization’s continued growth has been supported by its culture of openness, participation, and strong member engagement across the broader YPO global network.
At the center of the chapter’s structure is its emphasis on forum participation, which remains a defining part of the YPO experience. Through these confidential peer groups, members exchange operational insights, leadership perspectives, and personal experiences intended to support long term growth and decision making. As an integrated chapter, YPO and YPO Gold members participate together within the same community, creating continuity and mentorship across different stages of leadership and entrepreneurship.
The chapter also emphasizes diversity, community involvement, and family participation, with partners and children often integrated into member experiences and events. These values continue to shape the organization’s identity and have contributed to its reputation as one of the more connected and collaborative YPO chapters globally.
Young Presidents’ Organization, commonly known as YPO, is an international leadership organization connecting approximately 29,000 chief executives and business leaders through peer learning and executive education initiatives. Membership is limited to qualifying executives who meet specific operational, financial, and leadership criteria. Eligible candidates must hold the highest-ranking operational role within a qualifying company or division, including positions such as President, Chief Executive Officer, Chairperson, Managing Director, or Managing Partner.
Additional membership qualifications include benchmarks tied to company revenue, enterprise value, workforce size, and organizational complexity. YPO Southern Sands maintains a policy of accepting only prospective members who fully satisfy YPO’s official qualification standards without requiring membership waivers.
Mirisis’ election comes during continued leadership and advisory activity across the technology and SaaS sectors. He currently serves as an Operating Advisor with Fulcrum Venture Group, a venture advisory firm focused on supporting software and technology companies throughout the United States. In that role, he works with portfolio companies on operational improvement initiatives, organizational transformation strategies, growth execution, and performance optimization efforts.
Fulcrum Venture Group recently expanded its operational advisory initiatives as part of a broader strategy focused on strengthening execution systems, leadership alignment, and scalability across its SaaS-focused portfolio companies. Through this engagement, Mirisis contributes operational expertise to organizations navigating expansion, restructuring, and growth stage performance challenges.
Over more than two decades, Mirisis has held senior leadership roles within multiple SaaS and technology organizations, including Hometown, SamCart, GoCanvas, and Dude Solutions. His experience includes operational scaling initiatives, international expansion strategies, revenue execution leadership, and organizational growth across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific markets.
His background also includes participation in companies involved in strategic transactions, acquisitions, and corporate exit environments, providing operational experience across multiple stages of business growth and transformation.
Within the YPO Southern Sands Chapter leadership structure, the At Large Board Member position supports chapter initiatives while helping maintain alignment between member engagement priorities and long-term organizational objectives. The role includes participation in strategic planning discussions, chapter development initiatives, and event leadership support throughout the fiscal year.
The appointment of Mirisis reflects the chapter’s focus on combining entrepreneurial leadership, operational experience, and active member participation as it continues expanding its regional and global engagement efforts.
In addition to supporting chapter leadership initiatives, Mirisis is expected to contribute insight drawn from his operational background in scaling technology companies and navigating complex growth environments. His experience working with executive teams across multiple international markets aligns closely with the chapter’s focus on leadership development, peer learning, and long-term business growth.
Having worked within organizations undergoing rapid expansion, restructuring, and performance optimization initiatives, he brings practical experience in leadership alignment, operational execution, and organizational strategy. His involvement is expected to support continued member engagement while also contributing to discussions around innovation, executive decision-making, and sustainable growth within the chapter community.
As the chapter continues to expand its presence across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Caribbean regions, leadership remains focused on strengthening educational opportunities, encouraging peer-driven collaboration, and creating experiences that support both executive excellence and meaningful personal connection among members and their families.
The chapter’s integrated structure allows members from varying stages of business leadership to exchange perspectives, build trusted relationships, and participate in experiences designed to support long-term professional and personal growth. Through its events, forums, and year-round engagement activities, the organization continues to reinforce its reputation as a highly active and globally connected YPO community committed to learning, leadership, and shared success.
For members of the YPO Southern Sands Chapter community, the mission remains centered on continuous learning, relationship building, idea exchange, and leadership development among executives operating across a wide range of industries and international markets.
