HOUSTON, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — NewMed Energy and GeoIntelX have announced their collaboration to enhance NewMed’s exploration and production of natural gas in its assets through GIX, GeoIntelX’s geospatial intelligence platform. 

Under the agreement, GeoIntelX has deployed its AI-powered platform to process and enrich NewMed‘s extensive database on two of its flagship projects, which covers a wide range of technical and non-technical disciplines, from subsurface, through production and facilities, to environmental and regulatory materials. 

NewMed sees gains in both efficiency and depth of insight, already during this first phase. Having the database fully digitized, centralized and structured facilitates a drastic change in knowledge generation, based on comprehensive utilization of what was, and what is known alongside powerful AI analysis technology.
